All You Need to Know About Your Navy Rate
LaDR is brusk for Learning and Development Roadmap. You can access LaDRs via MyNavy Portal, here on Navy COOL, and using the Navy Absurd mobile app (Android and iOS.) LaDRs are updated annually and are documents that outline training and education milestones for each rating at each pay class. The LaDR is a tool you can employ to optimize your Navy career path and will provide you lot with guidance toward advanced educational opportunities and professional person certifications.
Every Sailor in the U.South. Navy must accept and utilize their LaDRs (OPNAVINST 1500.77).
LaDR documents tin exist combined, covering all the pay grades in a rating, or paygrade-specific within a rating. The easiest fashion to tell is by looking at the document file name. The combined document for ABE, for example, is "abe_e1-e9.pdf," while the document specific to E4 for ABE is "abe_e4.pdf". You tin choose to download the combined document or the one specific to your paygrade. Exist aware that the combined document is quite big. If y'all want to print your LaDR, you probably want to impress the paygrade-specific file since the combined document is then large.
You lot tin can discover the paygrade-specific documents via the LaDR icons on Summary page Related Credentials tables, and by hovering over the LaDR button beneath the rating picture on Summary pages. (See the descriptions beneath.)
Understanding OaRS
Occupational and Readiness Standards (OaRS) are provided as a new section within the E1/E2/E3 LaDRs.
OaRS outlines requisite knowledge and desired bones skills, and allows a candidate to demonstrate their ability to perform diverse rating-specific tasks. OaRS completion indicates the candidate can perform the tasks. Each task is based on one or more occupational standards for the same or similar subjects and reflects on-the-job rating language. For more than details and answers to common questions, encounter the LaDR Introducing OaRS one-pager.
E3 enlisted personnel are highly encouraged to begin working toward OaRS completion shortly after reporting onboard their permanent duty station, or immediately if not new to the command.
OaRS is VOLUNTARY and is non designed to replace other qualification programs such as Personnel Qualification Standards or other professional qualification plan(s). OaRS items that duplicate "sign off" items in these types of programs can be signed off as an OaRS item if they have already been signed off under any of these types of programs.
For more than information or questions related to OaRS, contact the MyNavy Career Centre, (833) 830-MNCC/(833) 830-6622, via electronic mail or MyNavy Portal. You tin also refer to the OaRS Briefing Carte du jour.
