"When Volition I See Y'all Again" is a song released in 1974 by American soul group The Three Degrees, from their third album The Iii Degrees. The song was written and produced by Kenny Risk and Leon Huff. Sheila Ferguson sang the pb, accompanied by Fayette Pinkney and Valerie Vacation. Billboard named the vocal #67 on their list of 100 Greatest Daughter Group Songs of All Fourth dimension.[1]

Sheila Ferguson recalled that "the song was played to me by Kenny Gamble at the pianoforte in 1973 and I threw a tantrum. I screamed and yelled and said I would never sing information technology. I thought information technology was ridiculously insulting to be given such a simple song and that it took no talent to sing information technology. We did practise it and several million copies later on, I realized that he knew more than me."[2] She would later on have a #60 hit with a solo remake of the runway in 1994.[3] The song is unique in that every judgement is a question, heightening the overall upshot and emotion. The 3 Degrees performed the vocal at Prince Charles' 30th altogether party at Buckingham Palace in 1978.

In 1993, Thomas Anders released his version of the song with The Iii Degrees, which appeared on the same-named album. The success of the cover version was pocket-sized. The following yr, Anders released a Castilian-language version of the song titled Una mañana de sol.

- Magda Layna released the song as a unmarried on Megatone Records in 1983.
- Hong Kong Cantopop singer Priscilla Chan (陳慧嫻) released a Cantonese cover version "幾時再見?!" (lit.: "When Will I See You Again?!") on her album, 秋色 (lit. "Fall Colours"), in 1988.
- Baton Bragg's version is the second song on the NME's 1992 covers compilation Ruby Trax.
- Japanese Singer CINDY covered the song on her 1997 compilation album Surprise.
